SMPS 2019 Awards

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Boston chapter held its annual Awards for Marketing Communications and Achievements at the Hotel Commonwealth on June 6, 2019. The event was a celebratory occasion as we honored firms and individuals who pushed the boundaries of creativity and marketing leadership in the A/E/C industry in the last year.

The Special Events Committee planned the Awards Gala, led by Committee Director, Jennifer M. Tulipani, PMP, and Committee Chair, Kate Beckman, who both work at Simpson Gumpertz & Hager. Circle S Studio’s Tim Asimos, CPSM, emceed the gala. As the Director of Digital + Growth at Circle S Studio, Tim has worked with A/E/C companies across the country. SMPS 2018-2019 President Valerie Puchades, CPSM from GUND Partnership was on hand to present the awards.

SMPS Boston recognized local A/E/C firms in the categories of Corporate Identity, Special Event Marketing, Social Media, Website, Holiday Piece, Brand Awareness Campaign, Marketing Collateral, Internal Communications, Video, and Recruitment and Retention. Award submissions were also exhibited during the cocktail hour & networking reception hour and guests voted for a People’s Choice award. The chapter also recognized the Volunteer of the Year, New Member of the Year and the Marketing Professional of the Year.
