Dress for Success Clothing Sale

Please join SMPS as we volunteer to help Dress for Success Boston hold their semi-annual clearance sale to benefit their programs. Their mission is to empower women to achieve financial independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life. They aspire to a world that fully harnesses the power of women and recognizes their role in economic sustainability. To that end, this two-evening sale event provides clothing to women in the community at deep discounts over what can be found anywhere else, while generating proceeds that will be used to fund their programs.

On Thursday, October 10, volunteers will greet guests at the door, help them with their clothing selection, re-hang and replace garments on the racks, restock, serve as cashier, etc.

On Friday, October 11, volunteers will provide similar services as the previous evening and, at the end of the sale, take all remaining clothing off the hangers, break down and remove racks, and vacuum and clean the space.

Please note that there is a 10 person/evening limit. For more information, contact Chuck Raymond, Director of the Outreach Committee, at craymond@geosyntec.com.
