Distinguished Speaker

Reading the Tea Leaves – Adjust, Adapt, Act: New England’s Construction Market Forecast

With this program, you won’t need a crystal ball to view a change in market trends!

We will peak into the future to see what the next 2-5 years hold for the industry and its key organizations. We will look at the macro drivers impacting the local market and what we can do to get ready for future market changes.

In this session, we will:

  • Look into the future to see what the market holds – growth or decline.
  • Investigate the current and emerging construction trends and forecasts for key markets.
  • See how the emerging talent market is changing how the industry does business.
  • Get insight into the geographic regions projecting the best long-term growth.

Back by popular demand, Cynthia’s approach will keep you informed and entertained, with a little bit of levity. Her presentation is easy to understand and apply to your business strategy!

CynthiaCynthia C. Paul, Managing Director, FMI Corporation. As FMI’s practice leader for business development, Cynthia works with industry organizations to position them to capture market share and grow profitably. She helps construction industry organizations stand out from the competition by discovering their differentiated platform. Working in tandem with project teams to create winning strategies, she has served industry associations, contracting firms, and industry suppliers.

With a strong conviction that marketing and business development start at the top of an organization, Cynthia specializes in conducting market assessments and forecasts. She then works with company presidents, sales, marketing, and business development executives to help create a strategic vision that can be translated into a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a minor in economics, from Fort Lewis College. She earned her MBA degree in finance and marketing from the University of Denver.
