Programs are developed by the Professional Development Committee and Programs Committee and include educational seminars, breakfast programs, and networking events.
The Professional Development Committee develops programs focused around the six domains of practice considered to be most critical for a professional services marketer: Marketing Research; Marketing Plan; Client and Business Development; SOQs/Proposals; Promotional Activity; and Information, Resource and Organizational Management. Sessions are targeted to meet the needs of marketers of all levels, from assistants who are just entering the industry to Marketing Directors and Chief Marketing Officers with decades of experience.
The Programs Committee organizes special interest programs involving prominent industry leaders, public officials, media figures and people who can represent potential project opportunities. Programming is planned to reflect SMPS’ position as a thought leader in the industry.
