Proposal Coordinator

Position Summary
EBI is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our Government Capture and Proposal Division of the Corporate Marketing Team.  The Government Proposal Coordinator will support the Federal Proposal Manager in identifying, vetting, and responding to large federal and state procurement requests.  The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining resources required for responses to RFPs, including professional resumes, project examples, SF 330 forms, and other standard materials.  The ideal candidate has experience working with or for government entities and is familiar with formal RFP processes.  This role reports to the Government Proposal Manager and should be within driving distance of the Burlington, MA corporate office.  


Job Requirements

Monitor, track and review upcoming and open bid and qualification proposals
Prepare summary of potential bids for group review during Go/No-Go determination meetings
Assist the Proposal Manager in assembling responses to RFPs, including producing and editing resumes, project examples, narratives, forms and other proposal package requirements
Assist the Proposal Manager in tracking and following up with responses to RFPs
Work with the Director of Marketing and the Proposal Manager to develop relationships with outside parties to cultivate teaming arrangements and other advantageous relationships
Obtain signatures and notary stamps for essential documentation related to RFPs
Print, bind, ship responses that require paper copies.  Hand deliver as needed in the greater Boston area.
Attend relevant conferences and events regionally as applicable to Proposal Team


Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
3-7 years of direct experience with Proposal Development
Prior experience with RFPs and Federal Proposal work
Ability to understand and adhere to prescriptive requirements for responses to RFPs
Exceptional writing skills – candidates will be asked to submit a writing sample
Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and strict deadlines while prioritizing tasks, projects, questions, and requests.
Strong desire to pursue a marketing career and to contribute, learn and think innovatively
Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and varying expertise
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with InDesign preferred 
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment


Additional Desirable Skills

Experience with GovWin or similar
Experience with Salesforce
