International Marketing Coordinator

INTERNATIONAL MARKETING COORDINATOR

ROLE SUMMARY
The International Marketing Coordinator supports the firm’s business development, project pursuit and communications activities across the Asia and Pacific region including but not limited to China, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia. The position works closely and collaboratively with senior staff in Boston and Shanghai to ensure the firm’s marketing efforts in this region are in alignment with Sasaki’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities include:

Business Development
• Coordinate the tracking and review process for long-leads (prospects) in the region
• Update CRM database of project prospects and client contacts on an on-going basis
• Generate leads reports to support the business development process
• Participate in weekly business development leads meetings
• Identify and research potential clients and develop outreach strategy
• Leverage network of clients, consultants and local architecture/landscape architecture firms to identify new leads
• Participate in ongoing business development strategy discussions with firm leadership
• Align marketing strategies with firm-wide business initiatives

Project Pursuits
• Identify and research specific project opportunities to inform go no/go decisions and pursuit decision-making
• Manage proposal process and produce marketing materials in the pursuit of new work including RFP/RFQ responses, qualifications packages, interview presentations, and conference proposals and presentations
• Build high-quality marketing materials catered to specific markets
• Support interviews as needed by project teams
• Track pursuit activity through CRM system
• Maintain updated materials reflecting the latest and best project and firm information specific to the region

Communications
• Collaborate with Communications team in Watertown to ensure the firm’s Asia practice has a strong voice in firm-wide communications
• Identify and help develop thought leadership pieces specific to firm’s Asia practice
• Coordinate with external translators for website content and other Marketing and Communications materials
• Maintain and grow relationships with top industry medias in Asia Pacific
• Coordinate the publication process, including review of editorial calendars, reviewing and vetting publications opportunities with the team and preparing required materials for publication
• Oversee firm’s social media presence in China

 

This role allows you to work in a dynamic team environment. It requires excellent organization, communication, strategic thinking and time management skills, and the ability to work successfully with individuals across Sasaki, from firm leadership to junior staff. Successful candidates bring a minimum of five years of experience working in professional services marketing, ideally in the AEC industry. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required. Proficiency in InDesign also required.
