Marketing & Work Acquisition Coordinator

<p>An integral member of the team, the Marketing &amp; Work Acquisition Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the team to help position Suffolk as the builder of choice. Coordinates a wide range of marketing activities that support the Build Smart brand.</p><p>Responsibilities: </p><p>Assist with event coordination including scheduling, recruiting, and day-of preparation for internal and external events <br />Assist with proofreading and production of award submittals, collateral pieces, and other general marketing materials<br />Support jobsites and internal departments for general marketing needs including the production of materials and reports<br />Assist with coordination and quality control for various internal and external communication channels including social media, employee intranet, internal newsletter, external newsletter, etc.<br />Assist with proofreading and production of industry-leading RFQ/RFP and interview materials to secure new business with highest level of attention to grammar, content, accuracy, and clarity with a strong sense of quality control<br />Coordinate the creation and maintenance of marketing materials including resumes, project profiles, etc. in support of new work acquisition<br />Request standard proposal information including insurance, litigation, bonding, etc. in support of new work acquisition<br />Participate in team meetings for key pursuits and other significant projects to provide support to the team as needed<br />Coordinate the annual tracking and renewals of prequalification packages<br />Maintain and update CRM database for all regional historical information<br />Assist with the organization of photography including employee headshots, project progress photography, and aerial photography<br />Maintain organization in the marketing production area<br />Keep inventory of production items including paper, tabs, toner, etc. and coordinate with appropriate vendors and/or office services to order supplies as neededStock marketing collateral including brochures and capabilities books<br />Organize new supplies and materials in marketing area as they arrive<br />Coordinate regular maintenance of printers and binding machines<br />Maintain awareness of the team’s strategic solutions to streamline processes in support of functional excellence</p><p>Qualifications: </p><p>BS/BA with concentration in marketing, business, or communications preferred<br />Ability to communicate directly and effectively (both verbal and written communications) with high standards for customer service<br />Highly organized with the ability to multi-task<br />Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment <br />Positive attitude and ability to contribute to the team<br />Excellent writing and proofreading skills and attention to detail<br />Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator<br />Strong technical capabilities in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word<br />Design sense and creative ability a plus<br />Familiarity with database systems a plus</p>
