What advice would you give to someone considering joining SMPS?

JOIN and get involved! The events are awesome, but you will see the greatest rewards from the network and friendships you build.

What was your favorite SMPS event to date?

One of my most memorable SMPS events was Build Business 2018 in San Diego. Not only was the conference an amazing learning opportunity, but Boston won the Striving for Excellence Best Extra-Large Chapter award!

What do you work toward in your free time?

Right now, I am working toward mastering my vegetable gardening game. I am testing out different natural fertilizer options and soil compositions. I just planted five different tomato varieties, a mix of peppers, three types of kale, cucumbers, and herbs.

Why did you decide to join SMPS?

I joined SMPS sometime after being hired by NEI General Contracting because I was green to the AEC industry and the company’s first marketing person. I wanted to be able to do my job effectively and have a better understanding of AEC marketing best practices. SMPS has proven to be a valuable resource- both in its programming and its members!

What advice would you give to someone considering joining SMPS?

Do it. It will be everything you hoped it to be and more. Absolutely invaluable for personal and professional growth.

What do you work toward in your free time?

I recently realized a dream of mine to become a life coach. It is so satisfying to be able to help people move toward greater fulfillment in life and facilitate and witness their transformation.
