Why did you decide to join SMPS?

When I joined SMPS, I was new to the A/E/C industry. It was important for me to have a resource specific to the work I was doing.

What was your favorite SMPS event to date?

I loved Embracing Diversity: How to Start a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at Your Firm. I am a part of the Equity and Inclusion Committee at HSH and this event provided great insight and inspiration!

What do you work toward in your free time?

Like a lot of people, I’ve picked up baking as a hobby during quarantine. I’ve been perfecting my banana bread recipe for over a year now.

Why did you decide to join SMPS?

I joined at the time out of curiosity after I signed up for an event. Luckily for me, I found my next job networking with SMPS members.

What advice would you give to someone considering joining SMPS?

You wont regret joining SMPS, there’s value in your membership that goes beyond networking, events, and job opportunities – it’s the friendships you make over the years.

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?

I’m expecting twin girls this summer! We are beyond excited.
